Love the attitude - Love conquers all!

Butta - Yes, you need to blog about this man (or anything at this point!) so we can all share in your newfound joy. I tried to tell you about all that settling.

Vivrant - I'm sorry to interrupt your work day by asking you to put on your thinking cap. LOL Obstacles, huh? All I need is a cocktail.

I've recently dealt/am dealing with both of these scenarios and it's been occupying my thoughts a lot as of late.

I think it's worse to meet the wrong person at a time you are ready to love.

With the other scenario, I'm thinking that that if you meet the right person at a time you're not ready, it could still work. I think communication is key. That other person has to understand where you're at and be willing to hang in there. They need to give you space to still work on you. But you have to be actively doing that!

Bottom line, from what I've seen, if a relationship is meant to be (meaning that this person is who God has for you and not who YOU want), things fall into place at the end -regardless of any obstacles.Vivrant Thanghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07452231996285146973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5433891002975715644.post-37980947498370744322008-04-17T10:53:00.000-04:002008-04-17T10:53:00.000-04:00Well as you know, up until now this has been the s...Well as you know, up until now this has been the story of my life: poor timing (combined with poor choices, but I digress) when it comes to the opposite sex. I have fallen for so many wrong people and settled for the table scraps that they've given me just because I wanted someone, anyone around. I was ready to give up and keep settling but having recently met someone who's on the same page as I am and as into me as I'm into them is a mind-boggling experience since I haven't been here in so long--if ever.

I guess I need to blog about this man, huh? Becuz when looking thru the love-colored lens, we will justify almost anything. Then 2 years of drama and heartache will have passed and none will be the wiser.

And to clarify, meeting the wrong person doesn't mean s/he is horrible but like you said, not on the same level as you when it comes to the amount of commitment. That will be the death of any relationship. I speak from 100% personal experience (as if you couldn't tell, lol)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
