Seelah: Thinking for Change

I got to work this morning and found the following email in my inbox. It was right on time for me. Maybe it will help you.

Things change
Sometimes our fate resembles a fruit tree in winter. Who would think that those branches would turn green again and blossom, but we hope it, we know it.

Today's Word
TO EVERYTHING there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven: ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1

Today's Thought
When our lives are difficult, we feel as if things will never change.
This, in turn, makes it harder for us to take the steps that might create the change we want. Remember, it is Your Past Decisions That Have Created Your Present Season.
When we look back on our lives, we can see that we've had both good and bad times. Somehow, we survived the bad times, and things eventually got better.
The passage of time helped, but we also acted in ways that moved us towards a happier place. We changed our Behavior and Trusted in God's Goodness.

It's Corny I know, but try Saying this to Yourself. ~

My life is filled with ups and downs. If today is a bad day-or this week is a bad week-I know it's not forever and that I will come through it.

Today's Prayer
Father In Heaven, I may not understand the Why of everything that happens to me, but I know I still have a choice to Whine or become Wiser. Teach me; Strengthen me through my present situation. I know that sorrow does not last forever and that Joy will arrive in the morning! In Jesus Name. ~Amen.

Actually, it wasn't "corny" at all. It is nice to be reminded of the power of God and how He can bring any storm to pass. Your darkest days can become filled with son before you know it. As seasons change, our lives do as well, and we are forever growing and learning. Thanks for sharing this.
