This past weekend, CL and I were sitting down watching some television and ended up seeing an episode of Tough Love on VH-1. One of the women was explaining to the host why she wasn't interested in dating a guy and that was because he hadn't really expressed his passion in life (what he was working towards) to her on any of the dates. She said he must not be ambitious. Obviously, that's an important trait for a potential mate. It made me start thinking about what my passion in life is at this point. And then I thought that I shouldn't really have to think about something that I am passionate about. It should be on my mind all the time. Maybe I need more help than I thought. Anyway, I'm still brainstorming.
What are y'all passionate about? Do you feel that you are making good progress towards that goal?

I'm still in the exploratory phase...ok, maybe it's really the denial phase. I got sidetracked a few years ago, but I'm getting everything back in order. My passions have changed over the years, but I really desire to start company that helps small businesses establish an online presence and use
maximize it as a marketing/outreach tool. You're right, we really shouldn't have to ask...I've done that and ended up spinning my wheels. It'll come to ya :-).
I want to be able to help others. It is my calling, but the funny thing is many people it seems don't want help, or they want help with conditionsm, or on their terms. It puzzles me when this happens. I'm here to help, but I am turned away when I show up to lend a hand.
There has also been times when folks have hated on me for trying to help them out, figure that one out.
Maybe I'll understand someday what the needy are thinking.
My passion has always been wanting to work in a medical or health related industry. Even though I haven't finished college yet, that field of work has always been something I've wanted to do.
I am passionate about equal access to justice. And photography. I heart Gordon Parks.
That was easy! :-)
I'm still searching for it...I love a lot of things...but...passion...idk
coojking, writing and thinking and family
what the heck is OGMSB????
Riddle me this batman....
So...what if you have reached the area that you have aspired to be...and what if you make enough money to sustain your life style...and hers...does it really matter what "passion" you have?
My passion is to write..and one day...when Idecide to take a class...I WILL BE A GREAT WRITER! DAMMIT!!!! :)
I've watched every single episode of tough love! I like it. My passion in life is ART! All forms! I like paintings, drawings, culinary arts, Architecture, Photography etc. But just yesterday I went to Michaels and got some good paint brushes, canvas, and this gel that makes acrylic painting look like oil painting!
So yes as of late I've been trying to indulge in my passion but hobbies "passions" can get really expensive!
Go.
Hey, I found you through Eb. I'm passionate about public service and building a good family. I'm happy with my progress in both areas.
